Rick Dearborn is a partner at Mindset and has held numerous influential positions in government and policy. They served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions from 2005 to 2017 and were Deputy Chief of Staff at The White House from 2017 to 2018. Their experience also includes roles as Senior Legislative Analyst with the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Assistant Secretary for Congressional Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy. Currently, Rick is a Senior Fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center and a Senior Adviser at the US-Asia Institute, among other positions. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, which they completed in 1987.
