Beth Lurie, M.A., is an accomplished language educator with extensive experience in tutoring and test preparation in French, Italian, and Spanish. As the Director of Lurie Language since 1987, Beth specializes in SAT II, AP level, college entrance exams, and academic support for college students, in addition to early language learning for children ages 4 and adult coaching for travel and business. Currently, Beth serves as an Italian language and culture instructor at The Amsterdam at Harborside and previously taught Italian language and culture at Portledge School. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from Vassar College, a Master’s degree in French from The City University of New York, and a certification in Teaching Foreign Language to Young Students from Teachers College, Columbia University.
