Ming Wong is an experienced design professional with a strong background in editorial design and graphic strategy. Currently serving as the Assistant Art Director at The Globe and Mail since June 2017, Ming specializes in visual presentation for print and digital formats, having designed over 100 impactful print covers and illustrations. As a Freelance Designer since September 2014, Ming has collaborated with various clients, including UBC Athletics and the Student Legal Fund Society. Previous roles include Communications Designer at The University of British Columbia, Lead Designer for The Vancouver Fringe Festival, Managing Editor and Senior News Writer at The Ubyssey Publications Society, and Communications Assistant/Graphic Designer at UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering. Ming holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Film Studies from The University of British Columbia.
