Robert J. Stanex is a Youth Specialist and Social Change Agent with nearly 18 years of experience supporting children and communities affected by gang crime. Beginning their career at 15, Robert worked in clubs and residential camps, and later spent a year in Senegal focusing on community education for vulnerable children. Currently, Robert serves as the Head of Mentoring & Youth Development at The Diana Award, overseeing teams across multiple locations to deliver career development workshops. They have also held significant roles such as National Safeguarding Development Officer for The Scout Association and Youth Work Manager for City Gateway, impacting thousands of young people. Alongside their professional endeavors, Robert is a Trustee at SEDOS and has a background in performing arts.
