Kaifu Chen is currently an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Computational Biology Program at Boston Children's Hospital. They have been a Full Member of the Dana-Farber Harvard Cancer Center since 2021 and an Affiliated Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since 2022. Kaifu previously served as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University from 2015 to 2018 and was the Director of the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Houston Methodist from 2018 to 2020. They earned a B.S. in Physics from Nankai University and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
