Sam Bird is a delivery-focused cyber and technology leader currently studying at the University of Bath. They have served as Global Director of Cyber Defense, leading global cybersecurity initiatives while building strong partnerships across industries. Previously, Sam held various roles including Deputy CISO and Head of Cyber Operations & Security Testing Services, where they transformed security functions and achieved ISO27001 certification. Sam's earlier experience includes serving as a Government Security Engineering Consultant, contributing to operational cybersecurity in defense and policing sectors.
