Philippe Valéry is the Vice President of Technical Operations at Thales, a global leader in aerospace, defense, transportation, and digital identity. In this role, Philippe oversees intellectual property, financing of research and innovation activities, partnership agreements, and the implementation of the research strategy across Thales' global presence. Prior to this position, Philippe served as Strategy Director at Thales' main research center in Palaiseau, where they managed a team of 300 researchers. Philippe's diverse experience in the Group includes roles in missile guidance, surveillance systems, and avionics as a research engineer, bid manager, and Technical Director. Philippe holds a degree in civil engineering from École des Mines de Nancy and a DEA in computer science from Université de Nancy.
