Kieran Smith is an experienced professional with a solid background in technical and business development within the defense sector. Currently serving as Head of Business (Air DAS) and Head Of Integrated Systems at Thales since February 2017, Kieran leads a team of engineering experts to develop operationally focused products for military applications. Previous experience includes roles as a Technical Operational Expert and Product Line Architect, where Kieran acted as the sole Rotary Wing subject matter expert, facilitating communication between clients and engineering teams. Prior to Thales, Kieran worked as a Business Analyst at White Space Strategy Ltd and spent over a decade in the Royal Air Force, where responsibilities encompassed training program management, instructional roles, and frontline piloting. Kieran holds an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
