Gregor Pavlin is a Senior Scientist and Program Manager at Thales Research and Technology in Delft, the Netherlands, where they lead a team focused on advanced AI applications in various domains including situational awareness and cyber security. Since 2010, Gregor has also served as an expert for the European Commission, contributing to evaluations within the Fp7 and Horizon Europe programs. Their past experiences include roles as a Lead Verification Engineer at Brightline Avionics and a Researcher at Thales, as well as a Post Doctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam. Gregor holds both a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Technische Universität Graz. Currently, they are an expert in the Workfield Committee for Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University, advising on the AI curriculum.
