Modesto Garcia has over 23 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, primarily at Texas Instruments since October 2003. Currently serving as the Director of Operations for Test, Product, and Validation Engineering, Modesto has held various managerial and engineering roles, focusing on high-speed communication IC validation and applications support. Previous positions at Texas Instruments include Test and Validation Manager and Systems and Applications Manager, where Modesto led teams in developing innovative testing strategies and ensuring product reliability for devices up to 28Gbps. Prior to Texas Instruments, experience includes a Process Engineer role at EMD Millipore and an Application Engineer role at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Modesto holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
