Samira Saedi, PhD, CSSBB, PMP, is a strategic planner and leader with extensive experience in operational excellence and quality outcomes. They served as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Houston, assisting in various engineering courses, and have taken on leadership roles at Texas Children's Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center, where they facilitated complex projects and improved inventory management systems. Currently, Samira is a Lecturer at Rice University School of Engineering, teaching "Operations Research in Healthcare" in the Engineering Professional Master’s Program. They hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, along with MS and BS degrees from Iran University of Science and Technology.
