Joe Chin is a knowledgeable engineering professional currently serving as a Manager in Body Structures Design at Tesla, where they are redefining the vehicle structures paradigm. With a strong background that includes roles as a Senior Dimensional Engineer and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, Joe has developed and optimized body structure systems extensively. Prior to their time at Tesla, they worked at Ford Motor Company as an Integration Engineer and Change Management Program Manager, leading teams to resolve complex geometric issues. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours and a Graduate Certificate in Management, both from the University of Melbourne.
