Fengfeng Tao is a Staff Electronics Design Engineer at Tesla, focusing on power electronics and firmware since 2017. Previously, they worked at GE Global Research from 2014 to 2017, taking on various roles including Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer, where they contributed to technology roadmaps and led research projects in power electronics across multiple domains. Fengfeng holds a PhD in Power Electronics from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing a BEng MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tsinghua University. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Fengfeng has been granted 12 patents and published more than 20 papers, showcasing their expertise in solving complex problems in SiC-based power conversion.
