Terre Haute Regional Hospital is a 278-bed Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive medical and surgical programs with a service area that includes a 50 mile radius covering both Indiana and Illinois. Regional is accredited by The Joint Commission, was the first Wabash Valley Hospital to be designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and Providers, and the only hospital in the state of Indiana certified in the treatment of sepsis.​
