Thomas Sanchez is an experienced molecular lab supervisor and lead molecular technologist currently employed at Tempus Labs, Inc. since July 2020. In this role, Thomas utilizes advanced clinical and automated techniques for liquid biopsies through Next Generation Sequencing, ensuring compliance with CLIA/CAP and HIPAA standards. Prior positions at Tempus Labs included performing routine testing and complex molecular procedures with a focus on quality assurance. Additionally, Thomas has been an active member of Beta Psi Omega since September 2016, networking with peers in the health field and contributing to fundraising efforts for organizations such as The National Cancer Association. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2019.
