Curtis Carter is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Tempus Labs, Inc. since May 2022, specializing in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP). Prior to this role, Curtis served as a Senior Machine Learning Research Scientist at Cognitive Scale from February 2015 to March 2022, focusing on unsupervised and semi-supervised NLP techniques to enhance sample efficiency and achieve state-of-the-art results. Previous experience includes positions as a Machine Learning Research Scientist and Applied Machine Learning Scientist at Rackspace Hosting from June 2009 to February 2015, where Curtis developed data center automation software, and as a Software Developer at New Medio from November 2008 to June 2009, concentrating on applications for musicians.
