David Kovsky has worked in the software engineering field since 2004. David began their career at Bentley Systems as a Software Engineer, working on a small team to develop a new C# ASP. NET web application using Scrums and Test-Driven Development. David also implemented numerous major reworks, enhancements, and defect fixes on a C++ application, refactoring whenever possible. In 2008, they joined Reframe It as a Software Engineer, working with Ruby, TDD, agile, startup life, open source, scalable, redis, solr, thrift, memcached, mysql, rabbitmq, etc. David was later promoted to Lead Engineer, creating, managing, and mentoring a great team of engineers and interns with a peak of 5 direct reports. David also collaborated with their Virginia office to implement a new product for an enterprise client using Rails 3, MongoDB, Cucumber, RSpec, JavaScript (JQuery), Git, and lots more. In 2011, they joined Coshx Labs as Lead Engineer. In 2015, they joined Telnyx as Staff Software Engineer, and was later promoted to Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, Backend Services. In this role, they worked with Elixir, Phoenix, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Redis, GraphQL, Swagger, Docker, kubernetes, OpenAPI, microservices, event sourcing, etc.

David Kovsky received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 1988 and 1993.
