Hany Ali is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as the O&M Optical Network Manager for Telecom Egypt in the Middle Delta region since January 2023, after previously holding the position of Senior Optical Network Engineer. Ali has significant expertise in managing DWDM/OTN projects and ODF installations. Prior experience includes a role as Optical Network Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services from January 2021 to October 2022, where responsibilities involved scaling DWDM networks and improving optical deployment processes. Earlier positions at Telecom Egypt spanned from 2006 to 2021, including leadership roles in technical teams for FM/OSS implementation and customer support for transmission circuits, as well as operating and maintaining the Greater Cairo optical transmission network. Hany Ali holds an MBA in Project Management from Ain Shams University and a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Minia University.
