Dr. James Parnell grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is currently an Emergency Medicine attending physician at a community hospital near Nashville, Tennessee. They also serve as a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Having held leadership roles in the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Parnell has served as Immediate Past President and Vice President of the Tennessee Chapter. In their leisure time, they enjoy coaching little league sports, volunteering with their church, and leading short-term medical mission trips with Lipscomb University students, alongside interests in tennis, Nashville Predators hockey, and grilling.
