Richard Huang is an Energy Transition Leader and Director of Project Development who focuses on driving innovative sustainability solutions within the energy sector. Currently, at Tecnicas Reunidas, they identify and advance opportunities in hydrogen, ammonia, sustainable fuels, and carbon capture across North America. Previously, as Sr. Manager of Corporate Development & Strategy at Enviva, Richard spearheaded large-scale renewable energy projects and cultivated strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance sustainability initiatives. With prior experience at bp in various engineering roles, Richard effectively managed complex projects and advocated for safety and operational excellence. They are also pursuing a Master Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University while holding an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University.
