Kate Lafferty has extensive experience in corporate development and finance within the mining industry, currently serving as Director of Corporate Development at Teck Resources Limited since January 2017. Kate's career at Teck began in 2007, progressing through various roles including Manager of Commercial and Strategic Initiatives and Business Development Manager in Chile. Prior to that, Kate worked as a Business Analyst at Ledcor and held several engineering positions at Teck, including Metallurgist and Project Engineer. Kate holds an M.B.A. from The University of British Columbia and a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
