Florent Coudret began their work experience at CSTB in 1996 as a Research Engineer and later took on roles as a Senior Project Manager and an Ingénieur Recherche & Expertise. Florent worked at CSTB until 2023. In January 2023, they joined Tech Soft 3D as a Staff Software Engineer and continues to work there presently.

From 1989 to 1991, they attended Université de Metz where they pursued a DEUG degree in Maths and Informatique.
From 1991 to 1993, they continued their studies at Université de Metz and earned a Licence in Informatique.
In 1993-1994, Florent Coudret pursued their education at Université de Metz, where they obtained a Maitrise degree in Informatique/CAO.
In 1994-1995, they attended Université de Rennes I and completed a DEA in Computer Sciences.
From 1996 to 2000, Florent Coudret studied at Université Côte d'Azur and obtained a PhD in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality.
