Murat Basarir is the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Sustainable Finance at TD. They are also a Board Member at Skills for Change. Previously, Murat served as a Business Development Manager at CoPower Inc. and was a Senior Advisor for Partnerships and Innovation at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). Their early career includes roles at Arup and Mitsui Arup Sustainable Projects, where they led innovative projects in sustainable design and energy strategy. Murat is currently pursuing multiple degrees, including a Master of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science at Queen's University.
