Juan Val is a Principal Database Solutions Architect and Lead Performance Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they focus on performance optimization, capacity planning, and enterprise architecture. Previously, Juan served as a Senior Database Solutions Architect and Performance Engineer at Cargill for a decade. They obtained a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota between 2014 and 2016. With a career beginning as a Junior DBA supporting Oracle 8i, Juan has accumulated extensive experience in heterogeneous IT environments, leading a team that supports over two thousand databases globally.
