Juliano Timm is a microbiologist and Ph.D. scientist with over 15 years of research experience in tuberculosis and genetics, complemented by more than 2 years of program management focused on clinical laboratory capacity building in resource-limited countries. They served as a Microbiology Consultant at TB Alliance from 2017 to 2020 and are currently the Director of Microbiology at the organization, providing scientific guidance for clinical trials and overseeing microbiological data management. Timm's previous roles include senior program specialist at the American Society for Microbiology and conducting post-doctoral research at Rockefeller University and the Public Health Research Institute. They hold an MPH in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Université Paris Cité, and an MSc in Molecular Biology from Université libre de Bruxelles.
