Green steel in a clean environment, without the use of coal.

Working at Tata Steel Netherlands means working on the biggest transition in steel production ever. Together with 12,000 colleagues, we are working on and investing in the biggest industrial transition in the Netherlands. In doing so, we are changing the heart of our production process. We are going to make steel on the basis of hydrogen. By doing so, we expect to emit 35% to 40% less CO2 by 2030. Our goal is to produce completely CO2-neutral steel by 2045.
