Jon Frear has over two decades of experience in automotive design, currently serving as Head of Exterior Design Europe at Tata Motors since July 2012. Prior roles include Assistant Chief Exteriors at Tata Motors and Senior Designer at both Mazda North American Operations and Mazda Motor Europe, where Jon Frear contributed from November 2001 to December 2009. Earlier experience includes a position as Automotive Exterior Designer at Ford Motor Company from September 2000 to July 2001. Jon Frear holds a degree in Transport Design, Automotive from Coventry University, which was completed between 1996 and 2000.
