Arash Azimi is a cryptography researcher and software engineer with expertise in zero-knowledge proofs, cryptographic protocol design, and secure system architecture, primarily using Rust. Arash has held the position of Lead Researcher at ZEI from 2014 to 2024 and is currently a Senior Expert Backend Developer at TAPSI, starting in 2025. Arash's education includes a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they also earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree. Additionally, they are a postdoctoral researcher at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. They have previously completed internships and research positions at institutions such as Nanyang Technological University Singapore and KU Leuven.
