Simon Meadowcroft is an experienced leader in Medical Affairs, currently serving as the Country Medical Director for Takeda Pharmaceuticals in the UK and Ireland, where they oversee a team of over 70 individuals across various functions. They have broad expertise at both global and affiliate levels, having worked in diverse cultural environments within UK, Japanese, and Swiss organizations. Previously, Simon held roles as the Global Medical Affairs Lead for Renal Cell Cancer and Soft Tissue Sarcoma at Novartis, as well as the Oncology Country Medical Director and Oncology Global Medical Director at GSK. Simon earned their MBChB in Medicine, with Distinction, from the University of Birmingham.
