Ishmael Johnson-Bey, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at T2 Interactive. They earned their Ph.D. in Computational Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Ishmael has extensive development experience in VR, neurogaming, robotics, web apps, social simulation, and procedural narrative systems in games. They co-founded Jyackl LLC, a not-for-profit dedicated to promoting Black economic inclusion in the food service industry, and have held various research and engineering roles in prestigious organizations, contributing significantly to projects involving game development and simulation.
