Evgeny Makoviz is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in algorithmic trading and financial data solutions. As Co-Founder and Head of Trading and Research at Systematic Alpha Oy since January 2018, Evgeny has been instrumental in developing trading strategies and conducting in-depth research. Prior to this role, Evgeny founded and served as CEO of TradeFinder, a platform focused on accumulating and producing financial datasets to support users in developing non-price based trading strategies. Evgeny's background also includes a tenure as a private algorithmic trader managing equity and futures accounts from April 2006 to November 2015, as well as a project management role at Brokis where Evgeny oversaw the implementation of trading systems and managed up to $1 million in assets under management. Evgeny holds a Bachelor's degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia.
