Jucemar Monteiro is currently an R&D Staff Software Engineer at Synopsys Inc, where they focus on developing algorithms for physical synthesis flow to enhance placement and routability in digital circuits. Jucemar received a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in 2011 and subsequently earned an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Microelectronics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2014 and 2019, respectively. They have contributed to the academic community as a co-author of the RsynDesign framework and have received multiple awards for their work in placement and routing optimization. Jucemar's research interests include physical optimization techniques that improve the Quality of Results in electronic design automation.
