HoonSang Jin is a Sr. Architect at Synopsys Inc., a position held since 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as an Architect at Cadence Design Systems from 2007 to 2024, where they developed formal engines for constrained random simulation and formal verification. HoonSang's career began at Samsung Electronics, where from 1992 to 2007, they served as a Principal Engineer, focusing on system-level design and verification tools. They obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005, following a Master’s degree from Sogang University in 1992.
