David Garrett currently serves as VP of Technology and Innovation at Synaptics Incorporated and as a Technical Advisor at Movellus Inc. In addition, David is an Advisory Board Member for the MECPS UCI Professional Master of Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems program. Previously, David co-founded Fabric Cryptography and founded SevenRL, while holding various senior leadership roles at Syntiant Corp. and Broadcom, where contributions included advancing the 802.11ax silicon technology and earning over 90 US patents. David’s career began at Lockheed Martin, and academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an executive program at Wharton.
