Cemil Sayar is a Chief Operations Officer at SunExpress, having transitioned from the role of Technical Director there from 2009 to 2021. Prior to that, Cemil served as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager at SunExpress from 2001 to 2009 and worked as an Engineering Manager at Cyprus Turkish Airlines from 2000 to 2001. Cemil began their career as an Aircraft Systems Engineer at Istanbul Airlines from 1998 to 2000. Academically, Cemil earned an MBA and a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Mediterranean University and Istanbul Technical University, respectively, during the years 2005 to 2007.
