David Hayes is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in data analytics and solution architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at SugarCRM since May 2024, David previously held the role of Head of Solution Architecture, Data & AI and Data Scientist at sales-i, a SugarCRM Company, from January 2018 to May 2024. David's career began at British Gas as a Database Designer from 1991 to 1996, followed by a long tenure at Capgemini, where David advanced to Lead Data Analytics Solutions Architect and Data Scientist from April 1996 to January 2018. Academically, David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Staffordshire (1987-1991) and completed a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen from Harvard Business School Online in early 2022.
