Conor E McCarthy is a Principal Design Engineer at Stryker since October 2014, bringing extensive experience in design and engineering from previous roles, including a Postgraduate Researcher position at the University of Limerick focused on developing a droplet-based microfluidic system for gene expression analysis. Conor's background also includes research engineering roles at Life Technologies and Stokes Bio Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed designing microfluidic devices using CAD software and manufacturing prototypes on CNC machines. Conor holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick, with research centered on Taylor flows, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
