Rachel Altreuter is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning over a decade in various teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as the Elementary Principal and Leader Mentor at Stratford School since June 2010, Rachel has also held positions as Vice Principal and First Grade Teacher at the same institution. Prior to Stratford School, Rachel was the Lead Humanities Teacher at Aim High and taught fifth grade at Temple Sinai. Additional teaching experience includes roles at YouThinkWell and Mark Keppel Elementary School. Earlier in their career, Rachel was the Summer Education Lead at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Vancouver, where responsibilities included designing educational programs and mentoring at-risk youth. Rachel holds a BA in American Studies and Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Occidental College.
