Shruti Dargan is the Director of Content & Partnerships at New Horizons Media Inc., where they focus on empowering newcomer voices through strategic storytelling and partnerships. With nearly 15 years of experience as a multimedia journalist, Shruti has held various roles including Chief Content Producer and Senior Copy Editor, where they honed their skills in editing, writing, and managing editorial content. Currently, Shruti also works as a Senior Writer for StoryTerrace, turning life stories into books. An advocate for the newcomer community, Shruti draws on their personal experiences as an immigrant to Canada in their mission to support incoming and newly-arrived immigrants and refugees.
