Nico Alexander Schminke currently serves as the Head of Design at Stellantis Professional Vehicles for Fiat and Opel since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nico was with FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from June 2008 to February 2021, holding positions including Chief Designer for Fiat Professional and Senior Designer for Exterior and Interior for Fiat Auto/Professional and IVECO Industrial Vehicles. Earlier in the career, Nico led the Exterior Design team at Hymer Innovation & Designcenter from June 2002 to June 2008 and worked as a Project Manager at Messeprojekt GmbH from January 1996 to May 2002. Educationally, Nico obtained a Diplomdesigner degree in Industrial Design from Hochschule Anhalt Bauhaus Dessau from 1997 to 2001 and also attended Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar University in Istanbul.
