Jake Currie, PE, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures from North Carolina State University, completed in 2015. Since then, Jake has accumulated a diverse range of experience in engineering and project management. Initial roles included inspecting construction elements and assisting with various engineering tasks at organizations such as NCDOT and Stewart. Jake progressed to a Structural Engineer in Training at Stantec, where responsibilities included design coordination and helping clients with project specifications. Jake has taken on leadership roles as a Senior Associate and Project Manager, overseeing medium to large-scale projects in both public and private sectors, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders. Currently, Jake works as an Engineer in Technical Sales at CAST CONNEX. Prior volunteer experience includes supervising and instructing volunteers as a Carpenter for Habitat for Humanity and ensuring guest safety as a Ride Operator at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
