Dr. Joy Kean is a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller at Stantec, where they are currently engaged in innovative and sustainable solutions for water management projects. They have previously worked as an Assistant Engineer at Sweco and as a Graduate Analyst at JBA Consulting, focusing on flood risk management and surface water assessments. Dr. Kean holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has published several articles in academic journals, including the International Journal: Water. They are a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager (C.WEM) and have received various awards, including the Balmoral Tanks Prize and the Best Poster Award at the Heriot-Watt Post Graduate Conference.
