Shashank V. Joshi, MD, has extensive experience in the field of medicine and academia, serving as the Director of the Triple Board Residency in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and as the Director of Training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine since January 2002. In addition, Shashank holds multiple leadership roles at Stanford University, including Senior Associate Vice Provost for Academic Wellbeing and Director of School Mental Health Services, with a tenure beginning in November 1999. Shashank earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine and later became a Diplomate in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
