Yong Heng Tan is currently the Platform Engineering Lead at Standard Chartered Bank, where they implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines and establish best practices for system observability. With a solid foundation in software engineering, Yong has previously held roles as a Lead Software Engineer at PALO IT, where they enhanced software deployment efficiency through DevOps transformations, and as a Software Engineer at Human Longevity, Inc. Prior to their tenure at Standard Chartered, they also contributed as a Lead Platform Engineer and Technical Lead at the bank. Yong is pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology at Temasek Polytechnic and studying for a Bachelor of Computer Science with Distinction at the University of Wollongong.
