Shuang Ding is the Managing Director and Chief Economist for Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, a position held since 2017. Shuang's extensive background includes roles as Director and Senior China Economist at Citi from 2011 to 2015, and as a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund from 2001 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Shuang served as an Economist at the People's Bank of China from 1993 to 1997. Shuang holds a Master's degree in Economics from Tsinghua PBCSF, completed in 1993.
