Raj Thangaraj is a seasoned risk management professional with expertise in technology, fintech, and cybersecurity. They began their career as a Trainee IPLC Commissioning Support Engineer at Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited before progressing through various leadership roles, including Team Leader at e4e and Sitel, and Team Manager at KPIT Cummins GBS Ltd. Between 2019 and 2022, they held multiple positions at Standard Chartered Bank, culminating in their role as Associate Vice President, focusing on payments technology governance, risk, and compliance. Currently, Raj serves as Vice President and Product Owner for Sustainability in Technology Risk and Governance at Standard Chartered Bank. Raj holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from St. Joseph's College of Engineering.
