Carlson Tong is the Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited and also serves as the Chairman of the University Grants Committee. They previously held the position of Chairman at the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission from 2012 to 2018 and led KPMG in China and Hong Kong from 2007 to 2011.
