Bhargavi Viriyala is an experienced leader with over 20 years in the financial services industry, currently serving as Managing Director and Group Head of Global Risk Services at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to this, they were the COO of Consumer and Shared Operations at Bank of America from 2019 to 2022 and held several key positions at HSBC, including Chief Risk and Admin Officer. Bhargavi has developed expertise in Operations Management and Transformation, particularly in AML, Fraud, and Consumer Banking, and focuses on integrating emerging technologies into organizational strategies. Currently, they are pursuing education at Madras University.
