GuanYow Chen is a seasoned professional in emerging technology and innovation frameworks, currently serving as the VP/CTO at ST Engineering since 2024. Previously, they held various leadership roles at the Singapore Economic Development Board from 2009 to 2020, including Director of New Businesses and Assistant Head of New Technologies & i3. GuanYow also contributed as Lead Scientist at Surrey NanoSystems Ltd from 2007 to 2009, and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey from 2005 to 2007. They hold a PhD in Electronics from the University of Surrey and a Master of Engineering in Electronics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
