Pouyan Pirouznia is currently the Head of Research and Development Testing at SSAB, where they lead a skilled team in chemical, mechanical, and metallographic testing. Previously, Pouyan held roles as a Process Development Engineer and a Product Development Engineer, focusing on productivity enhancements and product improvements. They completed a Master’s thesis at Alleima, researching steel output properties, and earned a PhD in Materials Sciences from Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, where they conducted research on stainless steel hardening, resulting in multiple publications. With a strong passion for structured processes and high-performance teams, Pouyan values clear communication and strategic collaboration to achieve long-term success.
